George Barrow: Bari Innovator

Today we welcome baritone and tenor sax player, George Barrow, to the World of Sax. Self-taught on clarinet, flute, tenor and baritone sax, the New Yorker played and recorded with Charles Mingus and Oliver Nelson.

Notable recordings with Barrow include Mingus’ “The Clown” and Oliver’s “The Blues and the Abstract Truth.”
