Today, we celebrate the birthday of one of our most talented and versatile saxophonists. Dave was born on March 27th, 1963. Koz has made a name for himself as a master of smooth jazz, with his soulful sound and impeccable technique captivating audiences around the world.
Dave’s music is known for its melodic beauty, catchy hooks, and vibrant energy. He has collaborated with a wide range of musicians throughout his career, including Stevie Wonder, Cory Wong, Rod Stewart and Barry Manilow, and has released a number of hit albums, including “Lucky Man” and “Summer Horns.”
In addition to his exceptional musicianship, Koz is also a humanitarian and philanthropist. He has founded several organizations, including the Starlight Children’s Foundation and the Dave Koz and Friends Jazz Cruise, which raise money and awareness for a range of important causes.
