Remembering British Saxophonist Dick Morrissey

Today we’ve added British saxophonist Dick Morrissey to the World of Sax. He was one of Britain’s brightest jazz stars and a man who had a key role in the early fusion between jazz and rock during the 1970s.

Morrissey combined a blend of Stan Getz and Sonny Rollins, and was also influenced by the example of Tubby Hayes.

We welcome this British sax legend to our big sax world!
